Ben's experience at our practice

Ben had not been to the dentist for some time and had put off the event given everything seemed fine with his teeth. After 3 years of neglect, Ben decided he must visit the dentist and decided to book his first Dental health assessment with us at Newcastle Dental Practice.

What we did

Ben had a Full Dental health assessment for 30 minutes where the dentist charted each tooth on our state of the art software system and used X-Rays to understand the condition of Ben's oral health. A full smile check was also conducted to ensure we understand what Ben wanted to achieve in the short and long term as well as how we can help keep his teeth healthy for life.

Outcome

Ben had a full review and needed no treatment! He no longer felt nervous about future appointments because of his positive experience and immediately booked another Dental health assessment for 6 months, as advised by his dentist.

"I hadn't gone for a check-up in more than 3 years. I kept saying I needed to, but why go if there's nothing wrong? I had no sensitivity or spotting but I thought I should 'go!', so I did! I came in to have a Dental Health check along with a scale and polish with the Hygienist. I enjoyed the experience! Not many people would say that about the dentist, especially me! My dentist at Newcastle Dental Practice was excellent, he was very pleasant and after my check I was informed no treatment was needed. Everyone at Newcastle Dental Practice made me feel at ease. My appointment was prompt,the dentist (Dr Broom) looked at the issue, identified what would be the best course of action and quickly repaired the damage to my fixed retainer. He knew I had a routine appointment in a few weeks so offered to check on the repair then. I was very satisfied with the quality of work and the swift appointment.

I've been to NDP both for an emergency appointment and as part of my package treatment. Both times I've been the practice has been oustanding!! I am not a fan or the dentist and most definitely have anxietys about going however these soon dissolve once you meet the incredible staff that work and run this place. Firstly the reception staff and manager Sophie leave you feeling like you're getting the spa experience, customer service and professional standards were off the charts, I was made to feel very welcome and at ease. My dentist is Marcus and you can instantly feel his postive energy and expertise as soon as you enter the room. Marcus made me a personalised care plan to get me back on track and answered and concerns I had leaving me with peace of mind. My hygienist is Claire, an extremely experienced asset to the team who not only gave me an unbelievable clean but also went out of her way to help me build of routine to make a difference, no judgement just help. The dentist has always been an issue - now it's an experience. Thanks to all the staff at NDP
