Bridges

A dental bridge is a permanent fixture comprising one or more false teeth and is used to fill the gap after the natural tooth has been lost through injury or extraction.

Beautifully crafted in porcelain just for you, our bridges are extremely durable, correct bite issues, improve speech and are a good way to get your smile back on track.

Bridge treatment at Newcastle Dental Practice takes two appointments. At the first appointment, we minimally shape the teeth in either side of the space, take a special mould of the teeth and place a customised temporary bridge.

About 14 days later at your second appointment, we will remove the temporary bridge before carefully fitting your new bridge. Your dentist will check for your comfort and make any small adjustments to ensure a perfect fit.

My appointment was prompt,the dentist (Dr Broom) looked at the issue, identified what would be the best course of action and quickly repaired the damage to my fixed retainer. He knew I had a routine appointment in a few weeks so offered to check on the repair then. I was very satisfied with the quality of work and the swift appointment.

I've been to NDP both for an emergency appointment and as part of my package treatment. Both times I've been the practice has been oustanding!! I am not a fan or the dentist and most definitely have anxietys about going however these soon dissolve once you meet the incredible staff that work and run this place. Firstly the reception staff and manager Sophie leave you feeling like you're getting the spa experience, customer service and professional standards were off the charts, I was made to feel very welcome and at ease. My dentist is Marcus and you can instantly feel his postive energy and expertise as soon as you enter the room. Marcus made me a personalised care plan to get me back on track and answered and concerns I had leaving me with peace of mind. My hygienist is Claire, an extremely experienced asset to the team who not only gave me an unbelievable clean but also went out of her way to help me build of routine to make a difference, no judgement just help.
