Facial peels
Facial peels are simple procedures with little or no downtime, consisting of a chemical solution that causes skin to exfoliate and peel off. The skin peels are used to address pore congestion, irritation and other signs of ageing.
Chemical peels work by:
- Stimulating collagen production to reduce signs of ageing, including fine lines and wrinkles.
- Improving the appearance of ageing including pigmentation, sun damaged skin, dry, dull and dehydrated skin, acne scarring, oily and acne prone skin by exfoliating surface cells.
- Softening and smooth the skin’s surface texture
- Decreasing the frequency of acne breakouts and fade the appearance of post-lesion discolouration
- Maintaining and enhance the results of a home care regimen
- Helping to prolong results of in-clinic procedures for more comprehensive results.
Immediately after a skin peel, the treated skin may have some redness but this will fade over a few hours.

Without reservation, I highly recommend Yannis for both routine and cosmetic dental procedures. Throughout my appointments, various dental nurses have assisted Yannis. Each nurse has been supportive of his efforts, dedicated to their work, and exhibited exceptional care. The reception staff are always courteous and welcoming, greeting me with a smile upon my arrival. Scheduling appointments that accommodate my availability has been a seamless process. I find the treatment costs to be reasonable, and the costs are always clearly communicated before any work is performed. In summary, I cannot express my satisfaction with Newcastle Dental Practice. Reception staff are really pleasant and helpful. Clinician is really kind and explains everything. He is also very good with my younger children - I wish my dentist had been like him when I was a child.
